Turn your notes into a podcast
Revise without a screen. PrimeNote turns notes into a podcast episode in which speakers talk through the topic, so you can listen on the way to class.
Some of the best revision time is the time you can't spend at a desk: the commute, a walk, the queue at the canteen. Reading notes on a phone in those moments is tiring. Listening isn't. An AI podcast from your notes turns that dead time into a review session.
PrimeNote writes an episode script from your note and voices it with the speakers you choose. Pick from more than ten natural voices and the language of the episode. Because the speakers talk the topic through, the episode explains connections and examples rather than reading bullet points aloud, which makes it easier to follow without looking.
It works for any source. A PDF to podcast turns a dense reading into something you can hear on the train; a recorded lecture becomes a shorter conversation about its main ideas. Episodes in another language are useful if you're studying in a second language and want to hear the material in your first, or the other way round.
Podcasts are part of the subscription and use credits based on length. Your plan includes credits each billing period, and the app shows the estimated credits before you generate an episode. Add-on credit packs never expire, though they can only be used while you're subscribed.
Use episodes as a first pass as well as a review. Listening to an episode of a reading before you sit down with it gives you the outline, so the close reading goes faster and you spend your attention on the argument rather than working out where it's heading.
How it works
Pick a note worth hearing
Lectures with a clear storyline and readings with an argument make the best episodes.
Choose the speakers
Select from more than ten natural voices.
Choose the language
Episodes can be generated in multiple languages.
Check the credit estimate
The app shows the estimated credits before you generate.
Listen, then recall
After an episode, say the three main points aloud before you check the note.
A podcast episode from an art history lecture
Recorded lecture · Art History 115 · Linear perspective · 50 min (fictional example)
- Episode topic
- How linear perspective changed painting in fifteenth-century Italy.
- Opening
- The speakers set up the problem: how to show depth convincingly on a flat surface.
- Middle
- They walk through the vanishing point, orthogonals and the horizon line, with an example of a tiled floor receding into the distance.
- Close
- A recap of why perspective mattered for realism and how it spread through workshops.
What it looks like
From the sample note on a cellular respiration lecture.
Maya: Picture glucose as a paycheck. Glycolysis cashes a tiny part of it right away.
Leo: And the electron transport chain is where most of the money actually gets paid out?

|---|---|---|
| Revising on the move | Squint at notes on a phone | Listen to an episode |
| Turning notes into audio | Record yourself reading them | Speakers voice a script from the note |
| Hearing it another way | Not practical | Choose voices and language |
Good to know
- Podcasts are a subscription feature and use credits based on episode length.
- Listening is passive. Pair episodes with flashcards or a quiz to check what you retained.
- Episodes reflect the note. Edit the note first if something important is missing.
